Twenty four women were able to join us for the annual 8th of March gathering that took place on Sunday 13-Mar-2022. This event was held despite the multiple cancellations. Women gathered to connect, hug, pray together, as well as eat the great dishes from Mediterranean Cruise Cafe and share from their experiences related to current situation in Russia and Ukraine. MMWC held a silent auction, during which women were able to bring and sell their own items. All profits from sales ($1350) were donated to two groups: Palm of Hope (Help for Ukraine) and Jookender (Alex Medic). One of the MMWC admins is volunteering at Alex Medic in Poland, at the border of Ukraine, helping directly to refugees in the area. We are praying for peace!

A total of 148 ladies have gathered at our annual Gala Event at the North Garden Theater on Saturday 04-Dec-2021. Ladies looked absolutely amazing, wearing gowns, evening makeup and hairstyles. The evening began with professional photos by Olenka Verezovska on the red carpet, complimentary glass of champagne, and dinner from Twin Cities Catering, and was followed by Oscar Nominations for the best dresses and looks. The evening ended with dances, as usual. It was a log of fun, and MMWC administration is thrilled to be able to serve our Russian community and make our club members happy. We are looking forward to future events of 2022 - soon to be announced!

A total of twenty two women attended the first event of Russian Folklore Singing that took place at the park on Sunday 29-Aug-2021. Club members enjoyed drinking tea from a Russian samovar and had an accordionist to accompany our singing led by a professional singer of Russian Folklore songs - Inna Krikushova. A total of 5 songs were recorded - please visit our Youtube channel to view one of them. We hope to repeat similar folklore events in the future.

Twenty eight women with kids were able to join us for the first ever organized horseback riding event that took place at the local ranch on Sunday 15-Aug-2021. We enjoyed an hour long ride at the nature. It was fun to connect with each other and also ride these beautiful calm creatures. We are hopeful to repeat a ride potentially in the fall 2021.

A total of 44 ladies have attended our annual yacht cruise on Lake Minnetonka on Sunday July 25th. The boat was full of happy ladies dancing for about 3 hours straight. The weather was gorgeous, the lunch was tasty and the company was simply amazing. It is now clear that MMWC administration will rent a larger boat for the next years to come due to a very high demand on this cruise attendance. We are thrilled to make our club members happy, and absolutely looking forward to the next cruise to come!
