Minnesota Marvelous Women's Club

First of a kind event for the club members to include spouses took place on Friday 14-Feb-2020. This unique event gathered 11 couples who took the time to learn salsa at the famous ballroom studio Dance With Us America. This was also a potluck event - couples have shared their favorite dishes and drinks. We are looking forward to repeat events that include spouses in the future.

Ten women have gathered on Saturday 25-Jan-2020 to perform in a choir for the elderly in a memory unit at a Nursing Home Sholom Home in St Louis Park. Old songs have touched the residents regardless of their state of mind. Special thanks to coordinator Nina who helped with facilities and the program. We will definitely perform again in the future.

Twenty six women have gathered to attend the financial planning event on Sunday 08-Dec-2019. Certified financial adviser has shared some general information on financial planning for education, advised on accounts and the best ways to save funds as well as apply for financial assistance, and answered questions from the audience.

A total of 110 women have gathered for the annual gala event in Great Gatsby style on Friday 22-Nov-2019. Club members continue to amaze with the level of preparations for the club events, including purchase of dresses, shoes and accessories, and wearing applicable hairstyles and makeup. Photographs were taken to capture the amazing beauty. Dinner was served by Twin Cities Catering, after which the ladies played Mystery Murder and were entertained by Lena and the LoveKills band playing live. Event ended with the usual drawing of gifts and the Russian discotheque.

MMWC is very happy to launch another annual virtual project titled Giving Away to a Marvelous Lady. Project includes sharing of gifts between club members. Decision to repeat the project came after a successful implementation of this project last year, and multiple requests from our club members to repeat it. The project will last for 31 days, from Dec 1st to Dec 31st of 2019. Women are welcome to list what they would like to share with others for free. Those can be different services, new gifts/items or anything else that might enlighten others during the holiday period.
